Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us
The Marathon Ministry at Calvary Chapel Meridian is dedicated to seniors who desire to continue running the race of faith with endurance and purpose. Rooted in Hebrews 12:1-2, this ministry provides opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and service, encouraging seniors to deepen their walk with Christ and support one another in prayer and love. Whether through Bible studies, outreach, or gatherings, the Marathon Ministry seeks to inspire seniors to finish strong, faithfully following Jesus and leaving a lasting legacy of faith.

Chuck Lind

Senior's Ministry Pastor
Chuck grew up in San Diego where he was saved at the age of 21. As a new believer, Chuck attended Calvary Chapel in San Diego and later moved to Bellevue Washington where he was an assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel Seattle.  Chuck was then called to move to Olympia Washington and start Calvary Chapel Olympia in 1983, pastoring CC Olympia for 30 years before retiring and landing at CC Meridian as an associate pastor and leader of our Senior's Ministry, Marathon.

Chuck and his wife, Pat, have been married for 50 years as of 2025, with three daughters and six grandchildren.

Pastor Chuck has a deep desire and heart to encourage the older Saints in their walk with God and to step out in faith, sharing their wisdom and gifts with younger believers.
