Review Week
Over the last 9 weeks we learned a lot about what happened after God created everything!
First, we learned about Adam and Eve and how their sin affected all people and all of creation. But we also learned that God promised to give us a Savior to pay the price for sin. We all are born with a sin nature, but God has shown us mercy by offering forgiveness through Jesus—the perfect sacrifice. We learned about the global flood, and how Noah had faith in God. The Ark Noah made was huge and was strong enough to survive this great flood. Finally, we learned about what people were doing after the Flood. Instead of spreading out around the world like God commanded, they decided to build a city and a tower to make a name for themselves. This place was called Babel. God confused their languages and they moved away and spread out around the world like God had commanded them to do in the first place.
We spent our time together playing a review game to help reinforce all that we have learned. The kids had so much fun, and it was amazing to see how much these kids remember from the last couple months!
Take some time to pray with your kids this week and thank God for the truth of His Word.
Memory Verse
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. Hebrews 11:1 and 11:6
