MINISTRY LEADER CENTER

MOVING FORWARD
TOGETHER

A central place for ministry leaders to stay aligned, informed, and connected as we serve the church together.

UPDATED JUNE 2026

MAKING COMMITTED FOLLOWERS OF JESUS

This page exists to help our ministry leaders stay on the same page. Check back regularly for key updates, upcoming events, reminders, ministry needs, and encouragement as we serve together as one church.

OUR SHARED MINISTRY FOCUS

As a church, we want to keep ministry simple and focused. Whether someone is new, growing in their faith, or stepping into service, we want to help them take their next faithful step.
We do this through a clear and intentional pathway:

CONNECT

Helping people gather around the Word, worship, prayer, and fellowship.

GROW

Helping people build relationships and grow as disciples, especially through House2House.

REACH

Helping people use their gifts to serve others and care for the body of Christ.

CURRENT MINISTRY NOTES

  • VBS is June 22–24. Please be praying for the volunteers, children, and families who will be participating. This is one of our largest outreach opportunities of the year.
  • Summer attendance patterns are beginning. As schedules shift with vacations and travel, continue encouraging people to stay connected and engaged throughout the summer months. Leadership will be paying attention to attendance trends, volunteer participation, and ministry engagement over the summer.
  • July will be a month of rest. Sunday services will continue as normal, but there will be no Wednesday night services, House2House groups, or additional ministry events scheduled during July. This intentional pause is designed to create margin for our leaders, volunteers, and families before the fall ministry season.
  • Please continue praying for the many transitions taking place throughout CCM and CMPA. Pray for wisdom, unity, and God's direction as we move through this season together.

UPCOMING EVENTS

  • Church BBQ - June 17
A key opportunity for connection—encourage your teams and people to attend.
  • Start Here Lunch - June 28
A primary next step for new people—be intentional about inviting those who are newer.
  • Leadership (Endure) Conference - August 7–8
A great opportunity for leaders and those growing in leadership.

SUMMER  ATTENDANCE

LEADER RESOURCES

One topic that has come up recently is whether moving from three Sunday services to two services during the summer months might better serve our church. For Summer 2026, we will continue with our current three-service schedule.

Rather than making changes this year, we'd like to use this summer as an opportunity to gather information and better understand how summer attendance patterns affect our church and ministries. As you lead and serve this summer, we'd appreciate your help paying attention to things like:
  1. Changes in attendance throughout the summer
  2. Volunteer shortages or scheduling challenges
  3. Ministry areas that become strained during the summer months
  4. Parking, space, or logistical concerns
  5. Opportunities that may be created by having more or fewer services

Our goal isn't simply to reduce services, but to determine what best supports discipleship, volunteers, families, and the overall health of the church during the summer season.
If you notice trends, challenges, opportunities, or have thoughts you'd like to share, please send them to the office using the link below. At the end of the summer, we'll review what we've learned together and use that information as part of our planning for Summer 2027.
Use these tools to plan, communicate, and stay aligned with the broader ministry of the church

ENCOURAGEMENT

3 STEPS YOU CAN TAKE TO HELP PEOPLE

CONNECT - GROW - REACH

  1. Identify 1–2 people in your ministry who could take a next step and personally invite them into serving or deeper involvement
  2. Begin identifying potential H2H leaders or hosts and encourage them toward that next step
  3. Ensure your team is consistently scheduled and communicated with through Planning Center

- If you need help getting set up in Planning Center or have questions, feel free to reach out.
