HOUSE2HOUSE (H2H) GROUPS

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,

so continuing daily with one accord in the temple,

and breaking bread from house to house,

they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

praising God and having favor with all the people.

And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Acts 2:46-47

MISSION

House2House Groups are small groups that meet in homes throughout the Treasure Valley,

and provide an opportunity to grow in meaningful relationships, discuss & apply Sunday’s sermon,

and support each other in prayer as we seek to join in God’s mission.

OVERVIEW

The early disciples understood that togetherness is essential for the growth of each person

and the church itself by being in close community with other believers.

The Christian life is way better in community!

And yet, this is the one area that is often lacking in the lives of Christians.

We must intentionally “do life” together.  And so rather than just hoping that it will happen,

we have chosen to set up a purposeful way for the people in our fellowship to engage with each other.

We call them House2House Groups.

SPECIFIC DETAILS

We have two short duration gatherings in the Spring (March – May) and fall (Sept – Nov) each year.

When they meet, the H2H Groups are, centered around Jesus’s admonition to love one another,

and are fellowship oriented through making friends and having meals together.

They are led and hosted by people selected and trained by our Calvary pastors.

The groups meet on various days, times and locations, mostly in comfortable home environments.

They are composed of couples, singles, all men or all women, family groups,

even adult led teen groups are available, and contain up to 12 people including the leader and host.

Many of us do not have the support net of relationships that were once common in our society.

Our current culture is increasingly fragmented, and relationships unhealthy.  But the Christian life is not a solo act!

We need and desire the support of those who share our faith. Where do we find healthy friendships these days with people like ourselves?

House2House Groups is our answer. Join one!
