Jesus Wants Us to be a Light for Him
Last week, Calvary Kids preschoolers learned that Jesus is the Light of the World. This week, preschoolers learned that Jesus wants us to be a light too.
Read Matthew 5:13-16
Jesus calls His followers two different things: salt & light. Jesus meant that we should share his love with others. When we are like salt, we bring flavor to those around us. And when we are lights for Jesus, we are sharing His love by acting in love toward others. When we tell others about Jesus, we are helping others to know His great love for us. When we do good things and share with others, we are salt and light.
