Jesus is the Light of the World
Read John 8:12-19
Did you know Jesus is our light? Jesus is God’s Son. God sent Him to the earth because He loves people so much. Jesus came to be our friend. He taught many people all about God’s love and wanted them to follow Him. Once, when Jesus was teaching, He said,“I am the light of the world.” Jesus wants us to know that special message, too.
Jesus is our light. That means He can help guide us. If it’s dark, then we can’t see. We need a light to show us where to go. Darkness can be scary, but when we love Jesus, we don’t have to be in darkness, and we don’t have to be scared.
Even if we feel sad or afraid, we can know that Jesus is with us always. Jesus is the light of the world.
