Fruit of the Spirit: Patience
God Can Help Me be Patient
In Calvary Kids Preschool, we have been learning about the Fruits of the Spirit. This week, we focused on patience.
Read Isaiah 40:31
For most people, waiting is hard! It takes patience to be okay with waiting. The Bible
says that when we trust God, He gives us strength. We definitely need strength if we want to be patient.
The more we work on being patient, the easier it will become to wait on things. Remember, we always have a choice. When we are waiting, we can choose to be mad and throw a fit, but that doesn’t please God. Instead, He can help us choose patience in our waiting. When we are patient, we are calm and at peace. That shows others that we have the fruits of the Spirit in our hearts.
