Jesus Calls Us to Tell Others About Him
Read Luke 5:1-11
The fisherman had tried all night to catch fish, but were unable to catch anything. Simon Peter was feeling tired and discouraged, but Jesus asked him to put out the nets one more time. Peter chose to trust Jesus and did as He asked.
By trusting Jesus, Peter and his friends watched a miracle occur as the nets filled so full of fish that they began to break! The fishermen were surprised and wondered at the great work Jesus had done!
Jesus told them it was now time to fish for people. The fishermen left their boats behind and followed Jesus.
Jesus calls us to follow Him and "fish for people" too. Jesus loves us so much that He died and rose again so that we can have life in Him when we put our faith and trust in Him to lead and guide our lives. That's Good News worth sharing!
