Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind
Memory Verse
I called out to you for help. And you healed me. Psalm 30:2b
Read John 9:1-17, 27-39
Jesus and His disciples met a man who could not see. He had been blind since birth. Jesus decided to heal the man and make him see to display the glory of God.
Jesus bent down. He spit on the ground. He made some mud from the dirt. Jesus
placed the mud on the man’s eyes. Jesus told the man to go wash in the pool.
When the man washed the mud off his eyes, he could see. For the first time in his life, he could see!
The religious leaders and people wondered about Jesus. "Who is Jesus, that He has the power to heal a blind man?"
Jesus told told the man He was the Son of God, and the man believed! He had experienced the healing and awesome power of God for Himself and knew it to be true.
When we are facing problems, we can trust that Jesus will fix them. Jesus is God's son - He can fix anything!
