Jesus Walks on Water
Read John 6:16-21
Jesus’ disciples got into a boat and sailed out on the lake. A strong storm came. The wind was blowing and the water was rough. The boat was tossing back and forth and the disciples thought the boat would sink. They were scared!
Then they saw something out on the water. It looked like a ghost. The disciples were even more scared! But it wasn’t a ghost. It was Jesus! He was walking on the water toward them. He told the disciples, “Don’t be scared. I am here.” Jesus got into the boat. At once, the storm stopped. Jesus’ friends were safe. They were no longer scared.
Jesus took away their fear.
We all get scared sometimes, but then we can remember Jesus is with us and our fear goes away.
